PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 2 years of experience in preparing and cooking nutritious, flavorful meals. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. A passion for creating healthy and delicious meals. Must be able to read and write in English. Police clearance is required.
RESPONSIBILITIES (inter alia)
Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes, ensuring nutritional standards are met. Ensure food presentation is of high quality, plating dishes attractively before serving. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Properly store food items to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage. Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor of any shortages or equipment needs. Comply with food safety guidelines and best practices. Collaborate with the team to create a positive and efficient working environment. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director for Personnel.
REMUNERATION PACKAGE
R4 776.86 to R6 200.00 per month
