Work with Elderly

The aim of the different programmes for the aged is to enhance human dignity without compromising on the ability to provide shelter, food, clothing and healthcare services at a high standard and in a caring and non-discriminatory manner. This is carried out through programmes for the elderly who are disadvantaged, marginalised and vulnerable and who may be nearing the end of life.

The programmes include facilities such as aged care centres and other programmes that are provided by corps (churches) in the community. The community activities include feeding programmes, distribution of food parcels, soup kitchens at pension points, visiting and assisting the elderly with activities of daily living in their own homes.
