Christmas may have come and gone, but . . .

You deserve to know that your end of year kindness made the day real in the disadvantaged communities you helped us serve.

The Christmas campaign began in Braamfontein where 235 people received a warm nourishing meal. Officers and volunteers spent time chatting with those who lined up hearing the many heart-rending stories and sharing a comforting prayer.

In Eastern KZN’s Esibhoweni, meals were served and food parcels were given to families in great need. For people in this community it meant so much knowing that they were not forgotten during a season when hardships can feel especially heavy.

And in Namibia, you were also with us bringing comfort and care to disadvantaged families where it was most needed. Nobody was left without both bodily and spiritual nourishment over the holidays.

In every instance where your love and care together with ours was shared, it brought relief and sincere thanks. We could see the gratitude in people’s eyes and hear it in in their words of appreciation.

Christmas past was a reminder of how a small act of kindness can make such a big difference in someone’s life.
