Now and then
Now – during our lifetime we gather much along the way. Some of it can’t be seen, like our values, our wisdom and our expertise in living life.
Once our life is over, these aspects of our life are held and treasured in memory by our loved ones, and others who knew us.
But what of the many material items gathered?
Then – with the end of life, we no longer need them. But we have the opportunity to pass them on to others – through our Will – so that they can continue to be used for good in our memory.
Again, our loved ones should be the first to benefit. And if there’s sufficient, some assets can also be spread to do good in the greater world.
Should you wish, beyond your lifetime, to continue doing good in the greater world through The Salvation Army – or if you’ve already recorded that wish in your Will – we’d so appreciate talking to you about it, and being able to thank you.
Ethresia van Staden on email: ethresia.vanstaden@saf.salvationarmy.org or telephone 011 718 6751 handles all communications of this nature in strict confidence.
The special nature of this gift is that a bequest costs you nothing now.
